Mary’s Advice

November 1st, 2012

If you had to do it all over again, what would you change?

My most serious mistake was retiring at age 56. My passion would be much better if I had taught for 4 or more years. My health was alright but I let annoyances with school administrators cloud my thinking. I could have moved to another school district.

As you approach the later stages of your life and look back on it, what things were most important to you?

My Catholic faith, friendships, and self-confidence have all guided me through my life. When I look around and start loosing my friends, the Lord provides a new way to serve and gain new friends and strength.
